[...] With Adidas King of the Road, I expected (maybe this is where I was wrong), to at least drink water without having to worry whether or not it is clean and potable, and I expected to be able to run without hassle, knowing what kilometer we were onto. Don’t get me started on the pre-race, too. Claiming the race kits was a total hassle (read a fellow Blogger’s take on the claiming day mess here).
I also had a frustrating experience last 24 October. I called up first to ask if 5k runners could come before the allotted time, since I had a commitment at 4pm, and I was told I could, since the time allotment in the brochure is only a guide to ensure smooth flow and distribution. So i patiently lined up outside the megatrade hall. While we were in line, some of the organizers were putting up signs outside which said that those who registered from 10-16 October will not be able to get their singlets/bib due it was not sure if they would arrive that day (no reason was given). They said, however, that we could leave our mailing address, and they will mail it to us instead. So i leave my mailing address, and an organizer in a black shirt named Patrick gave a cellphone number so I can follow-up. I went in anyway to claim my free mixed-berry juice, but that was about it, there was no `carboloading event' yet at the time (around 3pm). For the past week, I've texted the number 3 times inquiring when I will get my bib, since it had not yet arrived in the mail. Just this morning, someone called me up. She was the owner of that cellphone number which was given to me, and she has absolutely nothing to do with the Adidas run and was wondering why I keep texting her. So now it's Friday and I still don't have my bib, and I have no clue where to get it from. Next step for me is to go back to the number on the brochure and hopefully they can give me a positive answer.

King- I'm not too sure, but I heard in one of the Adidas stores, just don't know where. Might be a good idea to call any of their stores.

Alex- I heard differently. Yung announcement na narinig ko is they would deliver yung mga singlet nung mga tao na mali yung laman ng racekit, im not sure if that includes those who weren't able to pick up their kits last sat or sunday.

yeah! carbo loading party, that place was empty! no one was even listening to the speakers on stage. even the sponsors' booths didn't have much to offer.

i actually have a friend who registered there on Saturday morning (they wouldn't have let him if he didn't throw a fit), but he was told he had to come back the day before the race. sobrang hassle!

and then just yesterday, i found out that another friend registered sunday morning, and got his racekit immediately after. talk about inconsistency!

With the way things have been done so far, I wouldn't be surprised if those who were promised delivery won't get em in time before the race.
