Chris Brown live in Manila this coming October

i beg to differ. the negotiations with the booking agency hasn’t been finalized yet.are the local promoters dealing directly with chris’ management? or a booking agency(which is usually foreign based)? thing is, the booking agency would still need confirmation from the artist’s management group.i hope these rumors wouldn’t spread until a confirmed date has been set and if the promoters themselves have signed and sealed the deal to avoid false hopes to us music fans

I agree with erick reyes.a statement has been released by Araneta Coliseum’s group public relations officer Belle baldoza that there is no confirmed booking for that date. As mentioned earlier, the Manila promoter is currently dealing with a booking agency (middle man)based abroad, until such time that Chris’ management would officially approve of the agency’s offer then that would be the only time the local promoter may be able to give us fans confirmation.hope this clears all the rumors.

Clarification: The producer is not Octoarts ( they have never produced a major concert for the past 2 decades or so and producing concerts isn’t their cup of tea )In addition, Rihanna is DEFINITELY NOT part of the lineup. All the rumors thrown all over the net are hearsays and speculations. No contracts or any formal writing have been signed with the artist’s management. Araneta Coliseum has already released their official statement on this matter. I guess us music fans will have to wait and pray that somehow….someone will make this ongoing rumor come to reality.

i stand corrected..yes the reports are for real… rhianna and c.brown are definitely coming over on Nov. 16 As of this writing no confirmed venue has been made, since ticketworld is the official seller, then the venue would either be at the fort or at the MOA SMX. so how come no ticket prices have been released yet?here’s the deal..Rhianna and c.brown’s talent fee alone is a whopping and jaw dropping $800,000 or roughly P38M!!! that excludes other costs like roundtrip airfare, the entire entourage for both artists stand at 50 as of this time.(Expect the artists to take 1st class seats) throw in hotel accommodations, security,rent venue,food, audio,equipment(most of which will be flown in from the US),insurance,promotions and publicity cost plus other related expenses.total production cost would be around $1,200,000 or about P57M!! just for one show! Now, if you were the promoter, its a race against time chasing last minute sponsors(dont expect the telcos or large corporations to shell out tons of cash, even for major concerts, sponsorships have never been cash cows!) promoter would be so stressed out by now doing the computations on how to pull this one off.Factor in venue capacity,expected attendance,total cost and sponsorship revenues, only then would official prices would be released.How on earth do i know this? I just happened to be at the right place at the right time..why the hell am i sharing this bit of info? I’m just a music fan like everyone else..bracing myself and praying to the high heavens that ticket prices would be reasonable…The business side in doing this event is a big question mark..if the promoters make money staging this show..then by all means they could proudly TAKE A BOW while us music fans could just SAY GOODBYE to our hard earned cash.
