		<description>Yes I understand that. That&#039;s why I gave 2 examples. I&#039;m just saying there&#039;s a way to achieve a balance between making money and keeping your editorial integrity. Editors or writers aren&#039;t supposed to get paid to endorse a certain product, much more appear IN a commercial for that product. 

Quite honestly, advertisers should stop even attempting to do it. If the product is good, then the truth will come out.    

I know of a famous editor who was offered a lot of money to endorse a brand. She was made to choose between the money or her readers, and she chose the latter. The money could have taken care of her living expenses for a few years.

		<description>You forget one important factor, you are there ultimately to make profit as this is still a business....whether it be advertiser or reader driven it does not matter, a good editor will always have a story to tell no matter what the circumstances are.</description>
