If you’re a basketball fan, you should consider yourself lucky. Not because you saw the boring San Antonio Spurs take home the NBA championship two or three too many times. Not because you’re puzzled at how Isaiah continues to ignore the New York faithful’s call for his head. Not even King James’ 25 straight in last year’s playoffs or KB24’s 81 comes close to being in the same breadth of Michael Jordan’s grandiose career.

No matter how big today’s superstars become, they will never be like Mike. That is why (the bold text cannot stress it enough) — you are lucky.
