Why something like this would happen a day before Christmas is beyond me. Please see full details of what happened here. I would CRY if something like this happened to me or anyone I know. A few tips when bringing your precious Macbook or any other laptop in public.
- Do not leave it in the car when you’re going to watch a movie at the mall. If you have no choice, leave it in the trunk so it is not visible from the windows. It doesn’t matter where you go. That’s why you have a laptop bag.
- Those who go to crowded coffee shops tend to leave their laptop on vacant tables in order to save the latter. NEVER underestimate the people who go there. A laptop is still a laptop.
- Never trust ANYONE with your laptop. (If it’s a PC maybe you can – just kidding
) - Buy a case that will make your Mac look like a PC (peace
) - I love the area, but please stay away from the coffee shops in Katipunan (specially Bo’s Coffee in front of Miriam). The vicinity is notorious for crooks who hold them up and take EVERYTHING in sight.
If you find the guy who stole it, please post all details in Philmug and set a time, date, and meeting place. Sabay sabay nating kutusan ang loko.
